Crews completed work on Zionsville Road between 62nd and 71st on Indy’s north west side, making targeted repairs with strip-patching.

The improvements coming to Canterbury Park are just another example of how we are changing the way we do recreation in this city. Improving connections between our network of trails and @IndyParksandRec will provide our northside neighbors with a whole new way to enjoy nature.

Road closures begin today as downtown Indianapolis prepares for the NCAA’s Men’s Final Four weekend. Today, March 19th, North Street will close from Meridian to Pennsylvania. Tomorrow, March 20th, Pennsylvania Street will partially close from St. Clair to Michigan. There will be one curb lane and one drive lane. Always thrilled to kick off another season of our youth employment program with @EmployIndy. Since 2016, this program has helped employ more than 20,000 youth in Indianapolis. It was especially fitting that we announce this at @AMCTheatres, which will host a hiring event tonight.

Happy to spend St. Patrick’s Day weekend with the Ancient Order of Hibernians. The Irish heritage in our city can be traced back centuries, when our early immigrants built vital infrastructure that gave our city a moniker that still lives on today: the Crossroads of America.

A line of severe thunderstorms is expected to move through central Indiana this evening after 7 PM before ending by 2 AM. The primary threat will be damaging wind gusts from 60 to over 70 MPH, but a few tornadoes will be possible as well. #inwx #indy
