@KellieBlundell It’s a fair argument to make. Now, if someone comes at me with a Jimmie argument, I’ll direct them to @hallieimrie who likely still has a three hour VHS of times where the 48 was cheating. The Silver Fox ran several abbreviated seasons, still won 3 Cups, and still won 105 times.

I had not seen Barry Bonds do any television outside of his playing days until the MLB played at Rickwood Field the week after Wille Mays passed. Since then, I have actually enjoyed Barry, maybe for the first time in my life. He’s ‘let his hair down,’ and it made last night fun.

My God @NINaylor , it’s like you read my thoughts on this. Two shows I absolutely loved, and can’t seem to find in syndication. I know Sledge Hammer is streaming, but no State to be found. The State was most loaded (talent) sketch show I’ve ever seen.

@KellieBlundell It seems like today’s bunch just wants ‘beef’ for the sake of ‘beef.’ I don’t see any slow burn rivalries like there were in the days of Earnhardt/Bodine, KuBusch/Spencer, or even Kes/KyBusch. Hocevar needs reeled in a bit, but honestly, guys have done worse. Let the kid cook.

@EBischoff I’ll vouch for Eric here. Any time I have heard @MarkMaddenX ‘s name mentioned, Eric is always complimentary, but also seems to perk up a little. I think his explanation here tells me why. He knows Madden was an ideal hire. I am one fan that remembers his WCW work positively.

Let me clear this up for you: I LOVED working with Mark Madden! Was he a handful? Sure. It's why I was excited to bring him in. Mark brought an unfiltered, out-of-the wrestling box perspective that I loved. Controversial? Duh! Again, the very reason he was perfect for Nitro. Mark knew his role, knew the business and brought an edge to the product.

@20th_Centurygal Not simply a single band, but an individual show. I passed up on an opportunity to see Pantera and White Zombie on their “War Of the Gargantuans” tour in Noblesville, Indiana about 1995/96. I kick myself harder each time I think about it more than thirty years later.
