I write this with a heavy heart. My journey in the UK the country I loved, contributed to, and made my home, has come to an end. But this isn’t a goodbye by choice. This is a forced exit.
Before anyone accuses me of giving up or running away out of fear, let me be clear.
If there was any way I could stay, I would. I’ve never been afraid to speak my mind, and I’ve never been afraid of the community that has tried to silence me through threats, intimidation, and lies.
When their threats didn’t work, they sent the police after me. I was arrested based on false accusations, lies spun into fairy tales. Thankfully, I had the support of an incredible friend, Richard Inman, who helped me get a private lawyer. That case was dismissed, as it should have been.
But they didn’t stop there.
More complaints followed, and I was arrested again. That case is still under investigation, so I can’t speak in detail but once it’s closed, I promise I will name everyone involved and expose the truth.
The second blow came when I lost my job with Swansea Council.
Despite my strong work ethic and performance, I was told I wouldn’t be rehired because I was considered “racist.” This came directly from Swansea Council HR.
Yet, they allow councillors who openly participate in and lead hateful, divisive Pro-Palestine marches but I, simply for having a view, am denied work and labelled dangerous. I've attached a screenshot of the council's response, and the full version will be released soon.
What many don’t know is that I am not entitled to any benefits in the UK. I never needed them, I always had good jobs and took pride in standing on my own two feet. In fact, I once wrote to the Home Office declining benefits because I saw how many illegal immigrants were taking advantage of the system. That email is also attached below.
Because of this label placed on me by the council and others, I haven’t been able to secure any employment for months. My savings ran out two months ago. I didn’t want to leave Swansea, the place I made my home but I also couldn’t afford to relocate elsewhere. I’ve had to sell personal belongings just to survive.
Now, with no income and no support, I simply cannot afford the £5,000 required for my visa extension.
The Home Office is also aware of the Prevent visit to my home, a moment I documented and shared publicly on my YouTube channel. That, too, may affect my application. The system has made it clear, I'm no longer welcome here.
🧭 What’s Next?
I haven’t yet decided where I will go. I hold a Pakistani passport, and sadly, that alone has closed doors.
Many companies in Dubai and Saudi Arabia have effectively shadow-banned Pakistani applicants, making it incredibly hard to get a job. That leaves only Pakistan not out of desire, but out of necessity.
It’s a terrifying thought.
Why? Because in Pakistan, I’m a known voice against religious extremism, against tribal mindsets, and against the hypocrisy of many in the Muslim community. I’ve received numerous death threats from Pakistanis, Afghans, Bengalis and Muslims after my interview outside Tommy Robinson’s court case in London went viral.
If I go back, I know there are people who would love nothing more than to silence me permanently.
But I may not have a choice.
My visa expires next month, and unless a miracle happens, I will have to leave.
💬 Final Thoughts
To the many people who’ve messaged me privately, especially the women who told me my words gave them courage at their lowest points. Thank you.
Some of you told me you were close to giving up but hearing me speak helped you find your voice. I may be down right now, but your strength reminds me why I started speaking up in the first place.
Keep fighting. You matter. Your voice matters.
To everyone who stood by me, especially during White History Month thank you.
To the white British people who showed me kindness and solidarity, I will never forget your support.
This isn’t the end of my voice. This is just a new chapter.
They may take my job, my visa, and my right to live here but they won’t take the truth.
Thank you,
Sir Shoaib Sohail

@otto_hope @TheNorfolkLion Absolutely appalling that they brought their own food to share amongst each other!!!
English

@CheesedOffBrit @Jinjabfab @TheNorfolkLion @Tesco You think Tesco cooked up all that food or paid a restaurant 😂😂😂
Use ur 1 brain cell and look at the food that’s being served!
English

@mondez89 @TheNorfolkLion lol, I was thinking the same thing! That looks like home cooked meals brought in by the staff!!!
Stop trying to stir hatred @TheNorfolkLion
English

@TheNorfolkLion Gonna take a wild guess and say they were provided by some of the people attending, they look like something you’d get from a takeaway/restaurant than off Tesco’s shelf. Probably sitting on the floor for cultural reasons? Didn’t have a table big enough? Does it matter?
