Today the team attended the annual cancer awareness event @chorleyfc along with the HARRI bus and other local organisations. We engaged with the lovely supporters ,handed out information on signs and symptoms of cancer. It was a productive and enjoyable event. @ChorleyFCCF

March is Ovarian cancer awareness month . About 7,400 women are diagnosed with cancer of the ovary (ovarian cancer) each year in the UK. If you are worried about symptoms , talk to your GP. Early detection saves lives. #earlydetection #ovariancancerawareness

Today was our first community event of the year, Michelle and Andrew were at @Heartbeat_nwcc , promoting our service, Lorraine and Helen from the colorectal CNS team supported the event with Bowl cancer awareness. @LancsHospitals @macmillancancer

The dates for the 2026 , @HollywoodBowlUK Cancer community meet ups. Come along for a free game of bowling and a chat with others who are going through similar experiences. There is no need to book , just turn up on the day , you can also bring along a family member or friend.

North West construction company Warden Construction has raised over £3,000 for @macmillancancer through various fundraising activities across 2025. Macmillan was selected as their charity of the year, following the support it provided to their colleague Geoff during treatment.

Michelle had a great time @HollywoodBowlUK in Preston , meeting with the friendly group at the @macmillancancer Cancer Community Meet up . The next session is Wednesday 17th December, at 11am . Come along and meet this lovely group, for a game of bowling.

A trip to the Health Expo for staff at County Hall with the lovely ladies from the Skin CNS team and Gynea CNS team , our focus was cancer awareness, spotting signs and symptoms. @LancsHospitals
