people who are genuinely okay with their own life usually don’t have the energy to obsess over someone else’s. end of the day, it says more about them than the person they’re talking about

the scary part is how confident people can be about things they don’t actually know. assumptions slowly turn into “facts” in their head and that’s where fitnah starts. not because they have proof but because they repeat something long enough until it feels real and yes from the outside it looks like they’re calm, just commenting casually but real peace doesn’t come from tearing others down

i think people who spend a lot of time watching others and throwing hate aren’t really at peace, they just look like they are. most of the time, it’s not even about the person they’re judging. It’s projection. when someone feels empty, insecure or stuck in their own life, it’s easier to zoom into someone else’s story and pick it apart. it gives them a sense of control, like they understand something like they’re “above” it even if it’s not true
