No sense stressing. 3)Your proceeds are the only thing that the IRS receives. Reconciling your total proceeds to 1099-DA figures could help you avoid an IRS letter. As long as you have accurate records, you can use them to explain the difference. It sucks to get these forms with less than one month to the tax deadline. But getting an extension to file is a great protective measure.
