#CMS are dead. I've been thinking for a while that dynamic CMS pages were deprecated a long time ago. We spent several hours as developers trying to make every website piece dynamic, naively thinking the end user would actually use all of it.

Yesterday we detected and contained a compromise of an employee device involving a poisoned VS Code extension. We removed the malicious extension version, isolated the endpoint, and began incident response immediately.

I switched from Claude Code to OpenCode this week. The underlying capability is similar. The experience is not. Cleaner terminal UX. Easier to follow what the agent is doing. It feels finished. Claude Code felt rough around the edges. You can use the same models, but @opencode gives you access to others too. And you can run it headless without breaching the terms of use. I'm sold! If you've tried it, what do you think?

The trap is that even though you are a seasoned developer, you get hooked with “quick” wins so at some point you become the bottleneck reviewing a lot code being outputted, you find yourself wanting to “see” more, so unconsciously you begin to relax your reviews.

Am I the only one getting vibe coding fatigue? Building landing pages in 30 seconds was fun, but maintaining a complex codebase where half the logic was “vibed” into existence is an absolute headache. Feels like we traded 1 hour of typing for 5 hours of architectural debugging later. I’ve started manually writing core logic again so I actually know where the technical debt is hiding. Is anyone successfully managing large production projects with AI agents, or are we all just building disposable software?
