The Initia Foundation has put forth two proposal to refresh its delegations to validators and to reduce the active validator set. Together, these proposals aim to ensure Initia’s validator set is: ✦ Optimized for network growth through both technical excellence and strategic ecosystem contributions; and ✦ Fairly compensated for their services. The Foundation has concluded its Cabal incentive matching mechanism. The initiative was successful in gathering roughly 100,000 INIT additional incentives for VIP voters, helping to kickstart a healthy bribe market.

Given Cabal’s new Bribe Decay feature, only bribes made in the first 6 days of a VIP epoch will be matched by the Initia Foundation on the 7th day. This program begins with the VIP Stage 10 gauge vote and will continue until further notice.

We like the bribes. Starting tomorrow, the Initia Foundation’s VIP Bribe Match Program goes into effect. The Foundation will match 50% of all bribes on @CabalVIP with up to 5,000 INIT per appchain, per VIP stage.

The Initia Foundation just completed it's first bribe match: 25,000 INIT. This move boosted our yields from 55% → +80% and annualized bribes from $540k → +$770k. And it all flows back to you 👇

Claims for the Initia Foundation's Unstaking Subsidy Plan are now open: app.initia.xyz Eligible users who were unstaking between June 2 and June 23 at 6:00 AM UTC can claim a partial subsidy for missed staking rewards. Claims will remain open until August 3rd at 12 PM UTC.

As part of the Initia Foundation's Unstaking Subsidy Plan, users who were unstaking between June 2 and June 23 at 6:00 AM UTC will receive a partial subsidy for missed staking rewards. The amount subsidized is proportional to the time they were unstaking during this period.
