@Light_88_ I think that might just be the stadium lights and not Electric Terrain. The visual effects of Electric Terrain don't seem to reach the edge of the stadium.

⚡️Mega Raichu X’s ability appears to be Electric Surge.
In the latest trailer of Pokémon Champions, Raichu only has Volt Tackle (ボルテッカー) as its Electric-type move. After Mega Evolving, the yellow aura is on the battlefield, strongly suggesting it is triggered by its ability.
This would make Mega Raichu X the newest automatic Electric Terrain setter alongside Tapu Koko and Pincurchin ⚡

@The_Teal_Mask Since Xerneas/Yveltal are the Pokemon of life and death, would life energy from every Pokemon be tied to Xerneas/Yveltal?
Also I think Mega Floette having Fairy Aura could imply a connection between Xerneas/Yveltal and the ultimate weapon.

I've always felt this argument comes from a place of misunderstanding because of how poorly XY explains megas. Xerneas and Yveltal didn't power the original ultimate weapon, so they didn't cause the existence of any mega known before Z-A.

Amplifying this cause I didn't see anyone mention tahk0's best argument: In the video, he theorizes the XY shapes come from mega evolution being directly linked to the X and Y shaped legendaries. Just like Dynamax has direct visual motifs from Eternatus and Tera from Terapagos.

The new abilities so far are Piercing Drill (not functionally new), Mega Sol, Dragonize, & Spicy Spray. Why two starters + Scovillain?
What if Spicy Spray was meant for Emboar but was too OP? Give it a Spicy Spray clone, call it Burning Vengeance.

@AzeriaRBRN @AbraxasVGC Fun fact, James Baek released a Mega Scovillain vid a day before Pokeaim did! James added Aerodactyl to Edu's team, so he caught on to the Scovillain/Aerodactyl combo pretty early.

After the opponent's Talonflame and my Aerodactyl fainted, Maushold came in and tried to use Encore on my M-Scovillain to trap it with Rage Powder, but honestly, my plan was to keep using it, allowing Kommo-o to use Clangorous Soul, and the next turn Clanging Scale goes brrr
