Update: I got the game yesterday as a little treat and I played it for 6 hours straight it’s literally so delightful and the best mix of Minecraft & Animal Crossing 🤲🩷

Oof it’s a tricky situation, but at least it’s just a personal use design😭 morally I dont think anybody would blame you if you revoked the license if you can, but if you can’t, it might be better to just let the design go 🥀 hopefully the asshole stays gone but I’m so sorry you have to be in this position in the first place 😭

@inklypuff They definitely did not pay for any sort of commercial license, they just paid for it like a regular commission, and then never used the design at all bc they went off the face of the earth...after yk being caught for being abusive. So i just dunno what to do lol.

Question, if someone i knew turned out to be an abusive pos to my friend and had commissioned me prior for a design...could I revoke that permission for that design and resell it?? I have no contact with this person anymore but i dont want him using the art anymore...

It was awesome! I went in completely blind (not having played the game or watched any LP’s of it before) and it was delightfully dreadful! Watching some lore explainer videos because unfortunately I’m dumb, but now understanding the source lore a little better, can confirm it’s peak

Other folks advice here is really good!! What helped me survive mine was this: • get rest beforehand • start shortly after you wake up / eat breakfast • take breaks every so often, and actually get up to move around, stretch, and look at something away from a screen. (I actually went outside on my back deck to get fresh air during my breaks) • have water / snacks on hand! • meal prep lunch / dinner if you can! Having something hearty or with protein in it that you can easily heat up is a great boon. • DRINK WARM TEA W/ HONEY. I AM SO SERIOUS. Please protect your voice and stay hydrated!! • if you’re planning collabs during the event, but are also introverted, consider doing your collabs earlier on since you’ll have more energy towards the first half • have some sort of loose outline of what you want to do! Not saying you need every hour and minute planned out, but having some activities or games in mind ahead of time can help give you some structure to help you stay awake! • nobody ever talks about this, but make sure you block off the entire day after the event ends as a recovery day! If you’ve got a day job for example, but you streamed Sat+Sun, then ask off of work for Monday as well! Good luck on your future 24hr stream!!! ‼️ VTUBERS / STREAMERS OF X ‼️ I'm looking for advice and tips I'm planning to do my first 24 hour stream and would love any help on how to actually survive it Things like, what time should I start? how often should I take breaks? Anything other than caffeine to help stay awake? etc etc anything helps, and thank you !! 🥺

For me, I wish more artists had very clear outlines of what their version of “commercial use” means for the client / what they can use the work for should they pay the license fee. I’ve seen some artists have their commercial use terms be a flat all-encompassing thing (meaning you can use it for merch, MVs, anything your heart desires really), and then I’ve seen some artist’s version of “commercial use” only to mean if you intend on using it for social media / streams, and if you want to merchandise the work, then you have to pay an additional fee on top of the commercial fee. 😵‍💫 I know most of this *should* get hashed out after you send a request, but having some form of idea where an artist stands and roughly how much I need to budget for before even reaching out is more helpful than not from a client’s POV! 🙂‍↕️

Clients: what info do you wish more artists included on their commission pages?
