Things you can write while eating two tacos and your own guacamole: my @altitude thesis. Stablecoins are a new operating asset, payment rail and gateway to tokenized markets. For the next few years, vertical integration gives you an edge. If you own more of the stack, you move faster, control more of the experience, and your costs are structurally lower. Over time, though, services and knowledge build up. The stack gets standardized. Specialization takes over. Plugging different providers together becomes easy and efficient. As stablecoins become a primary operating asset and payment rail, just being “stablecoin-enabled” isn’t an advantage anymore. It’s the baseline. The tech edge fades. Your services start to look like a commodity. At the same time, orchestration providers are expanding into more markets and driving down the cost of access to global banking rails. Stablecoins at the core, banking rails at the edge.
