You can't force Desmond to Step Down For you! Are we no longer in a democracy?

A drunk policeman shot me at a checkpoint in 2011. The bullet tore through my car, through my right hand. I lost my career as an animator. My marriage cracked. My mind still bleeds. The twist? I sued the Nigeria Police. Won in 2015. Judge said: "Pay his medical bills." 10 years later. Zero naira. I face permanent disability without help. @PoliceNG_CRU @TunjiDisu1 @UNDP @NhrcNigeria #NigeriaPoliceNotYourFriend

Mind you, nobody is stopping the poor from sending the rich to jail as well if they’re spreading misinformation, if you can do it, do it, nobody will stop you.

I still stand on the fact that there are better victims to fight for. That’s if you’re genuinely interested in human rights and not just being performative cos na wetin dey trend

Daniel Ojukwu wrote a report that exposed corruption and institutional malfeasance which was perpetrated by a powerful politician. Next thing, the politician arrested him, bundled him to Abuja and kept him in unlawful detention for over a week under the draconian Cybercrime Act

He declared someone dead o😂 Doubled down, and pleaded guilty.

@iamDo2dtun 1. It’s not in the constitution 2. It’s an addendum to the Cyber Crimes Act that was introduced a few years ago. And the main issue is that the punishment is too severe for a law that is dangerously vaguely worded. The image below has the problematic wording.
