@keerahspice Some laws are unjust and some laws are worded deliberately where they are easily manipulated. This is the cybercrimes law - why would “a lie that causes annoyance or inconvenience” land anyone in jail.
It is worded deliberately so it can be used to clamp free speech.

Any law can be manipulated to suit personal agendas in this country, but if we use that as a reason to reject laws entirely, then we might as well stop prosecuting crimes altogether. We still prosecute crimes because people need to understand that actions have consequences.

@iamDo2dtun 1. It’s not in the constitution 2. It’s an addendum to the Cyber Crimes Act that was introduced a few years ago. And the main issue is that the punishment is too severe for a law that is dangerously vaguely worded. The image below has the problematic wording.
