Russia set a new absolute record: 1,428 drones launched against Ukraine in just 24 hours. Over May 13–14, Russia used 1,567 drones and 56 missiles. Ukraine intercepted 94% of the drones and 73% of the missiles. Compensation for what wasn’t expended during the so-called ‘ceasefire’.

According to The Jerusalem Post, Russian intelligence reportedly gave Iran a list of 55 critical energy sites in Israel for precision strikes. This is the Kremlin approach, Ukraine has lived it for years. Easing oil restrictions isn’t an option. It’s oxygen for the war machine that spreads this terror. Russia funds terror and helps Iran target the U.S. and its allies. It’s time to tighten sanctions, cut the oil money, and make it clear that exporting Kremlin tactics comes with a price.

Russia is already waging a hybrid war against Europe, and it’s unclear why Europe isn’t responding. You’re dealing with a bully and hope to pacify him by ignoring his attacks, but it doesn’t work like that. Until Russia is pushed back, it will keep testing the limits of what’s allowed. Europe sets that line.

Europe isn’t lacking information about what Russia is doing. Europe is lacking the will to act. The evidence is public and piling up: sabotage, cyberattacks, airspace violations, maritime intrusions. The “Everywhere War” tracker maps verified open-source incidents across 30+ countries since 2022: sahasec.org/tracker/ As a Ukrainian MP, I’ll ask it plainly: do you really think ignoring an attack makes it stop? It only teaches Moscow it can do more.

While everyone is talking about Iran, Russia keeps doing what it has been doing for years: killing Ukrainians and destroying our country. The drone waves haven’t stopped. Ballistic strikes are happening almost every night. People are dying. And Washington’s answer is a 30-day waiver for Russian oil. So “maximum pressure” has exceptions when gas prices matter.

Lviv is about 60 km from the EU/NATO border with Poland. In broad daylight, as people were coming home from work, a Russian Shahed hit a residential building in the city center. New waves of drones are still coming in. This is how Russia tries to make normal life impossible. We don’t need pity. We need the tools to stop it.

Just unpacking it here. Ukraine is helping us with Iranian drones, resulting from the war we launched against Iran. And we're easing sanctions on Russia because of the oil market fallout from the war we launched against Iran. And Russia is helping Iran with medical aid and intel, in the war we launched against Iran. And Trump is frustrated with Ukraine because it's still at war with Russia.

While Russian intelligence helps the Iranian regime kill U.S. troops, the White House is moving to temporarily lift sanctions restrictions on Russian oil. To fight one dictatorship, this administration is choosing to give breathing room to another – one that has been killing Ukrainians for 12 years. How many ukrainian lives is “stable fuel prices” worth?

Our strongest cards are Ukraine’s real experience of modern warfare and the technologies we build ourselves, from scratch. They’re used every day. They meet this war in real time, work where it matters most, and have passed the only test that counts: the battlefield. We’re building capabilities the world now needs, and we’re ready to share what works with our partners.
Wild Hornets@wilendhornets

Hi @FoxNews — small clarification. We appreciate that international media such as FOX News highlight the effective work of interceptor drones. The footage shown in this segment features STING — a Ukrainian interceptor drone developed by engineers at Wild Hornets and used by Ukrainian air defense units to destroy Shahed-type drones. This result is the outcome of a long and difficult path taken by Wild Hornets engineers together with Ukrainian soldiers, and we would be grateful if these achievements remained properly credited. We also deeply appreciate all the support we receive and are very grateful for the trust people place in our work. You can see more interception footage and feedback from Ukrainian soldiers on our page. More about STING: wildhornets.com/en/sting-a-hig…

“For free to Ukraine?” Ukraine gave up the world’s third-largest nuclear arsenal under the Budapest Memorandum in exchange for security assurances from the U.S., the U.K., and Russia. One signatory invaded. Others chose to forget their obligations, or to meet them only selectively. It’s cynical to ask a country to give up its deterrent and then frame support as “free weapons”, as if Ukraine is asking for charity. We’re paying in blood for security assurances that were signed and never honored.
Ostap Yarysh@OstapYarysh

WH @PressSec Karoline Leavitt: “Unfortunately, we had a very stupid and incompetent leader in this White House for four years who gave away many of our best weapons for nothing, for free to another country very far away by the name of Ukraine.”

This winter was the hardest of the full-scale invasion. Not just hours, but days without electricity. Without heat, without water, without anything close to a normal life. But we endured. It’s getting warmer now, you can feel spring coming. As @TarasChmut put it, we won the battle for winter. And for the first time in a long while, we have started to liberate our territories again. We know there are more battles ahead. And we believe there will be more victories too.

A single shot of a Patriot PAC-3 MSE interceptor, according to open-source estimates, costs about $4 million. The UAE often fired two missiles per target (“ensure-to-kill doctrine”). They faced 165 ballistic missiles: if you count $8 million per target and about 152 intercepts, that comes to roughly $1.2–1.4 billion spent on ballistic defense alone. That is extremely expensive even for the Emirates. Meanwhile, Iran spent an estimated $360 million on the entire raid (there were 541 Shaheds and 2 cruise missiles). They cheaply burned through air-defense stockpiles for years ahead. Ukraine is in its fifth year of this war. We know how to counter cheap drones cheaply. We’re ready to share what works with allies to strengthen our collective air defense. Figures above reflect Ukrainian analysts’ calculations based on open sources.

Ukraine has hard-earned, real-world expertise in modern warfare and battlefield technology. For five years, we’ve been intercepting Iranian-made Shahed drones and Russian UAVs. For years, we warned the world about this threat, long before it became everyone’s problem. We’re ready to share what works and what doesn’t with partners who want to strengthen their air defence.

Waking up to explosions in the middle of the night is Ukrainian reality. Last night Russia launched 420 drones and 39 missiles, including 11 ballistic, at Ukrainian cities and homes. Damage was reported across eight regions.

Every day of this war feels like stolen time. You live with constant uncertainty and the knowledge that your life can be taken at any moment. You can’t really plan. You just try to get through the day. The last four years have been four years stolen from us. Four years of deaths, loss, and pain. Four years of children growing up without their parents, because their parents are at the front. And you don’t get those moments back.

I want to remind everyone Russia invaded Donetsk and Luhansk in 2014, 12 years ago. For 12 years they have been trying to take this territory by force, and they still haven’t. That’s why it wouldn’t be strategically smart and it wouldn’t make sense to give up what Russia failed to capture. They couldn’t take it. Why should we hand it over? Freezing the contact line may be the only thing many leaders can agree on right now. But freezing a line is not peace.
