Islam is dying in the west and all over the world because of the internet. Those modern Islamic scholars admit it among themselves! Most western Muslims know NOTHING about the Quran. #Islamophobia #islam #BreakingNews

nicotine is one of our greatest gifts, yet small minds condemn it. best used and not abused but i love it so much i can't help but abuse it (about a can of snus per day) and i still get all the cognitive benefits; higher focus, suppressed appetite, elevated attention, reduced inflammation. the actual mechanism behind the cognitive benefits of nicotine are quite astounding. let me explain it. your brain is made of nerve cells called neurons that talk to each other through neurotransmitters. one of the most important neurotransmitters is acetylcholine. it's crucial for things like learning, memory, and paying attention (think alpha-gpc). nicotine's shape is very similar to acetylcholine (ach). thanks to this, it fits perfectly into the receptors meant for acetylcholine, specifically the "nicotinic acetylcholine receptors" (nachrs). imagine nicotine being a master key that can unlock doors all over your brain, normally just reserved for the ach key. when nicotine enters your brain and activates these receptors, it causes a surge in brain chemicals: → acetylcholine: by activating its receptors, nicotine makes the brain's own acetylcholine system more active, improving focus and attention. → dopamine: by elevating dopamine levels, it heightens pleasure, attention, and focus in your work. → norepinephrine: boosts alertness, enjoyment, and attention. it's part of your fight or flight system, but this minor boost makes you feel more awake and focused. nicotine is quite literally firing cognitive shots in your favor - telling your brain that it likes this work. this feels good. this is interesting. do more of this. i am sure you can deduce that this means it is best used only when working, conditioning your brain to associate these feelings with the work. one of the most basic nootropic stacks is nicotine + caffeine + l-theanine.

@Bwynndigo @elegationvain Babe, we disagree and that's fine. But AGP does mean love of oneself as a woman so yeah, Ray's right on the basic definition. You don't have to like that framing, girl, I get it. Last comment from me. Hope you're doing great on your journey tons of love & philia back at ya ❤️

@inner_named @elegationvain It's equivocation of Blanchards words. Breaking the words down you could say Pedophilia= love of children That's absolutely not what that means but the words break down to that. Transness is more than AGP, it's fine to use agp when talking ab the sexual aspect tho.

End of gender ideology means understanding what GD actually is- all signs point to autoheterosexuality, usually caused by ASD (aka A*P)- rather than the mythical belief in cross sex souls & default medical/legal reification of that mythical belief. There’s no cure for A*P though.
jules@cigarorchid

@elegationvain what do you see as the end of gender ideology? obviously finding a non-transition cure but what would that even look like? some GCs don't even think dysphoria exists

@Bwynndigo @elegationvain Same, trans woman here. AGP = love of oneself as a woman (Blanchard's words). The arousal when affirmed? Common, normal, and not just fetish. Obsessing over labeling it dumb or sexual only misses the bigger picture...

@Bwynndigo @elegationvain Booty call and butt dial don't even mean the same thing One is a sex invite, the other is an accidental pocket dial. Terrible analogy. Philia has literally meant "love" in Greek for 2500+ years (philosophy = love of wisdom, etc.). Blanchard chose that word on purpose.

@inner_named @elegationvain Again.... that is the breakdown literal meanings of the words... that is not the definition. I sent you a link to Ray blanchard essentially saying it's arousal in 500 different ways. Booty call and butt dial mean the same thing when u break the words down too...

@Bwynndigo @elegationvain I have done all the effort here in his tweet appolize now for lying he didn't said arousal of oneself as a women. You redefining the words and meaning of AGP which clearly mean LOVE YOURSELF AS A WOMEN not get horny as a Women hihi. Don't be to autistic x.com/i/status/98629…
Ray Blanchard@BlanchardPhD

@rdqb80 Auto = Self. Autogynephilia = a male's love of (the idea of) himself as a woman. Autohomoeroticism = a female's love of (the idea of) herself as a *gay* man.

@elegationvain @inner_named Then you should know better. Blanchard insists GD is the root of transness which has many obvious flaws. He said AGP is arousal at oneself as a woman. The fact it's more than arousal and more than sexuality discounts the whole thing as an etiology. GD exists outside of AGP.

@Bwynndigo @elegationvain Yeah, if AGP were purely sexual, sure but that's not the whole story. Blanchard named it 'autogynephilia' love of oneself as a woman for a reason. He noted the erotic part often fades post-HRT, while the deep love & desire to be a woman stays, just more romantic/identity-based.

@inner_named @elegationvain Yea I don't agree with her. I think some may go into sex work bc of agp but that doesn't therefor reduce trans people to sex or sexuality. I'm not pretending AGP doesn't exist I'm denying it as an etiology.

@inner_named @elegationvain I'm not calling her a liar. I don't think people can be expected to understand themselves perfectly. I might have fibromyalgia, but that doesn't mean I know everything about it or that I can't be wrong ab my own condition. The evidence is that GD persists when AGP doesnt.

@Bwynndigo @elegationvain Bro, don't just make stuff up. What does AGP stand for? Autogynephile. Auto (self) + gyne (woman) + phile (love). Those are the actual definitions of the word's roots. 'Love' is a broad term, and in this context, arousal is literally part of it.

@inner_named @elegationvain AGP by blanchards definition is "arousal at oneself as a woman"... If you describe it differently yourself that's fine. But let's not pretend it isn't an inherently sexual concept.

@PrecisionPivot @AnishA_Moonka Doesn't matter if someone claims they don't desire it. When recognition actually happens, it still feels good, right? That's straight biology, dopamine doesn't negotiate with philosophy

@AnishA_Moonka You incorrectly equate desire for relationships with a desire to be known and admired.. very different and actually opposing things.. those that seek admiration probably don’t do well in the friends department

The desire to be known is one of the most replicated findings in all of psychology. And the research on what happens when you suppress it is brutal. In 1995, psychologists Roy Baumeister and Mark Leary published a paper called “The Need to Belong.” It’s been cited over 21,000 times, which makes it one of the most referenced papers in the entire field. Their conclusion was blunt: the drive to form and maintain relationships is as basic to humans as food or shelter. Take that away, and people start to deteriorate. Thinking gets worse. Mood collapses. Health follows. And the health part isn’t metaphorical. In 2010, a researcher named Julianne Holt-Lunstad at Brigham Young combined the results of 148 separate studies (a method called meta-analysis, basically the gold standard for settling scientific debates) and found that strong social connections increase your odds of survival by 50%. Her 2015 follow-up put hard numbers on the flip side: social isolation raises your risk of dying early by about 29%. Loneliness, by 26%. Those numbers land in the same range as obesity and physical inactivity. You’ve probably seen the “loneliness is like smoking 15 cigarettes a day” comparison. Holt-Lunstad herself has said that line oversimplifies her data, but the core finding holds. Your body treats isolation like a threat. Chronic loneliness floods your system with cortisol (the hormone your body releases when it’s stressed). Stay in that state long enough and it triggers inflammation throughout your body, weakens your ability to fight off infections, and starts damaging the insulation around your nerve fibers, the coating that lets different parts of your brain talk to each other quickly. Lonely people show changes at the genetic level too: the genes responsible for fighting viruses become less active while the ones that drive inflammation become more active. In 2025, the WHO found that roughly 1 in 6 people worldwide experience loneliness and declared it a global public health priority. Here’s the part I keep coming back to. The philosophical traditions this tweet vaguely waves at actually teach the opposite of what it’s claiming. Stoic apatheia (their term for freedom from destructive emotions) was never about pulling away from people. The Stoics taught that engaging with your community is central to living well. Same with Buddhism. Non-attachment doesn’t mean you stop caring about people. A 2010 study out of UC Davis built a psychological scale to measure non-attachment and found something that surprised even the researchers: people who scored highest on it had more compassion, more kindness, and better relationships. Less depression. Less anxiety. Non-attachment means you stop white-knuckling specific outcomes. You don’t stop loving people. Maslow got here too, right at the end. Most people know his pyramid of human needs, the one that puts self-actualization (reaching your full individual potential) at the top. But in 1969, a year before he died, he quietly added a level above it: self-transcendence. He described it as moving past your own ego and identifying with all of humanity. The peak of human development, in Maslow’s final thinking, was deeper connection to everyone around you. A 2025 study combining data from 26 separate studies and over 68,000 students found that programs designed to build a sense of belonging improved mental health for about 1 in every 3 people. Thirty years of research say wanting to be understood might be the thing keeping you alive.

sleeping with a fan on is dangerous and most people do it every single night you thinking the breeze is keeping you cool and comfortable but it’s actually launching a silent attack on your respiratory system... when you sleep with moving air directed at you, it rapidly evaporates the moisture from your mouth and nasal passages. your body reacts to this extreme dryness in panic mode producing excess mucus to try and compensate. this is why so many people wake up feeling congested with a stuffy nose or a pounding headache but it gets worse; a fan doesn't just blow air it acts as a vacuum for dust and dead skin cells shooting them directly into your sinuses for eight hours straight the strangest part is taht sleeping with a fan can actually damage your eyes, many people sleep with their eyelids partially open without realizing it, that constant air flow dries out the surface of your cornea all night long leaving you with red and irritated eyes the moment you wake up.

@Bwynndigo @elegationvain Agp means loving yourself as a woman. You think of agp as sexual only. This is false. I know a friend whose agp was so intense he only wanted release from a$$, overtime he didn't want his penis because it was useless. Agp 100% causes gd period there are 1000s of those cases
