Last time I asked my Facebook friends for recommendations and they totally missed the assignment.
I said "my daughter is 16 and may start taking my car (and SUV) so what car should I get (for me)?"
People were suggesting the safest & blandest cars, when I was seeking ideas for fun cars.

Big Steve Vai fan, but never got into Frank Zappa… not as in “I listened and didn’t like it” but that there was never an “entry point” the way most artists have a song, collab, live opportunity etc that pull you in… and I guess that was Zappa’s genius and appeal. I met his son Ahmat a few years ago and meant to go back and listen… but never did… and this below may be said entry point!

This song - Over the Mountain, the lead-off from his second solo album - may be Ozzy's best overall track.
- Diary of a Madman may be a more complex composition,
- Crazy Train is epic and more popular
- Mr Crowley has the best solo
- and so on... but if one track really merits being his best, it's Over the Mountain. This is a live video featuring Jake E Lee - the guitarist who replaced Randy Rhoads - and one of the more underrated axemen of the 1980s.

Back in 2018, we were close to acquiring Just for Laughs / Juste Pour Rire. Wasn't meant to be, it's all good, life goes on. I sincerely wished them well and hoped they'd take things to the next level. But now a few years later, they have filed for bankruptcy protection. Here's what I don't get... How do:
1) one of the top talent agencies in the world (CAA/ICM),
2) the leading event organizer & media/entertainment behemoth (evenko, who produce the Jazz Festival, owners of Montreal Canadiens) &
3) the nation's largest media company & broadcaster Bell Media
bankrupt one of the world's top comedy festivals?
Bear in mind, coming out of the pandemic, the one thing people pay more for are experiences, travel, concerts, shows etc.
Meanwhile, there's more demand than ever for programming. Can anyone explain this to me?
