@ohmypy Me too, I've got enough puzzles to solve on my daily job, but I've got some friends who moved to more managing jobs that use it as a way to keep coding a bit, makes sense :)

There must be something wrong with me. I don't buy the whole Advent of Code idea. Like, at all. I'd rather spend my time on literally any other activity than solving these puzzles.

@Madisonkanna Doesn't make sense to me. It would be very bad for my focus and dedication to the current job. Staying connected to your field of work though should be enough I believe, and way less demanding. (social network, news, social events, forums, chit chat...)

I know people say "always be interviewing", even when you're happy at your job but interviewing is so exhausting, it always feels like a second full-time job how often do people actually interview?

@GaganSuie @diek007 @htmx_org You do not marry HTMX, you just take it for a ride, and use whenever you want. Or don't when you don't need it. You still do some HTML the whole time. Cannot go wrong in investing in HTML.

@diek007 @htmx_org I discriminate equally. I'm just trying to help the novice devs. Imagine someone gets into web dev and learns HTMX. And can't find anyone hiring. Job markets rough, why would I wish that upon anybody. Stop marrying frameworks and start getting paid.

@CarlaStabile I personally think that learning as a fresh dev with too much TDD in mind prevents from peacefully growing up and building a mental model of the essential concepts. So a no for me.

Je trouve qu'il y a un côté très apaisant à coder quand tout le monde dort, que ce soit la nuit très tard ou le matin très tôt les ami(e)s codeurs. T'es dans le silence total, aucune perturbation autour, t'es focus sur ton sujet 👌

@julian_rubisch It seems that you've reached the "wisdom" phase. The logical step after n00b phase "seems cool", fanboy phase "you should try it", nerd phase "you're a loser if you don't use it", expert phase "here is why you have to use it".

It seems like the older I become, the less opinionated I get about tech Tailwind or vanilla CSS? Esbuild or vite? Modular or desktop synths? Devise or Rodauth? Jumpstart or BulletTrain? Yeah, whatever rocks your boat. Anybody else experience this? 👴
