Here is a quick reminder:
PRESERVE YOUR SOL
Don’t be retarted and try to trade bullshit all day in market conditions like this and then when volume is back you have nothing left to trade with
I’m not saying quit or stop trading, i believe you should always be scanning bcz something can pop up randomly, but be EXTREMELY selective when you do so
I constantly write journals/tweets abt how im always working on being more selective, although its very boring and sometimes u just want to buy anything and everything, in the end it’ll pay off
Not only will it help you preserve your sol, but it’ll also help you stack up more sol overtime even if it’s extremely slow, that way when an obvious runner spawns, you’re able to enter with more size giving you a bigger prize
If you’re catching yourself doing stupid shit, don’t keep trading in hopes of making ur losses back, bcz ur only going to lose more, there’s nothing wrong with touching grass once in a while, just make sure you always keep your goals in mind and stay focused without letting your emotions get in the way

@Cypherpunkgod it reflects your growth but it's not the reason you grow
growth comes from improving your edge and execution, pnl just shows the result of that
English

@charliefx_ your pnl is a byproduct
If you obsess over your pnl you start forcing plays and chasing numbers
im not saying your pnl means nothing, because of course it reflects your growth but the focus should be perfecting your edge and execution and the money will compound from that
English

Your pnl is your ultimate score card, you should be focusing on that imo
Inquixit@inquixit
focus on becoming the best, not your pnl.

One of the most common things with people who lose a lot of their port is they come to the TL, let everyone know, post about how they’re going to make a come back and do a 10 sol challenge or some shi, start off with a loss but then lose even more, then repeat the cycle
1. no one gives a shit
2. stop seeking validation from others, you’re trading and improving for yourself, not the people in your replies
3. the best thing you can do is actually cut off all of CT and figure out exactly what you’re doing wrong while accepting that you can never make that old money back and the sooner you focus on making new money the better

IF YOU WANT TO BE A PROFITABLE TRADER, STOP LOOKING AT YOUR PNL
Up until recently, I have been posting my PNLS on X. I thought this was a good way to inspire people and show them that it is possible to make money in crypto even if you start out with a small amount of money. The journey was going great, I went from 0.5 SOL to 11 SOL in the span of 3 days. I didn't have a dev that I hit big on, I didn't have a golden trade that I hit big on. I slowly but safely stacked my small wins and organically made 11 SOL. Everything was going good until day 4 hit. It was my first ever down day, it started out as a +2 SOL day and I thought I'd be able to run it up to 20, but something changed. My wins weren't about running up a small port anymore, my wins became a race to beat my +5 SOL PNL from the day before. I started changing my size, I started bidding more, I started launching slop that I wouldn't have launched before.
But why? Why did I change the things that worked for me?
The reason was... My purpose shifted. Without realizing I stopped caring about my trading rules. I started buying every coin that my FNF mentioned, hoping to see the GREEN that would break me out of the RED PNL for that day.
Until I finally broke.
Day 5 of my challenge, I had trenched for hours on end and even with my small trading bids I started losing a high percentage of my port. I broke my rules again, I started to size into every play I saw, I became desperate to finally get my BREAKOUT. but that breakout never came.
I had to make it happen myself.
I deployed a coin, perfect for the Donald Duck meta. It was bound to be my big win, my whole FNF was pushing it as much as they could. I was buying on top of everyone to make sure that the green momentum didn't stop. Until every KOL holding sold at once. They all rotated to a vamp that had done nothing differently than mine. Maybe it was because the other dev was their friend or maybe another reason, but it was clear that I had no chance. I let everyone sell before me, and I sat there again, another huge loss. Everyone was tilted, and out of pure anger, I bought every last bit of SOL that I had in my wallet, into the coin that vamped me.
I full ported.
The number 1 rule of trading is: DON'T EVER FULL PORT.
Unsurprisingly, I lost again. At this point I ended the night, I started from 8 SOL and rinsed it down to 3.
THE COMEBACK ARC
To stop this from happening anymore, I am going to just be posting journals. I won't mention if I lost on the day or if I gained on the day, because your circumstance doesn't actually hold any value.
When Moses was stuck between the Red Sea and the giant army of the Pharaoh, he didn't say "why is this happening to me?" Moses put his trust in God, and God saved Moses and his people. Don't ponder on your circumstance, put your trust in God and work as hard as you can.
