FPL customers can expect a one-time bill reduction in September. Regulators have approved a one-month reduction of about $8 for a typical 1,000-kWh residential customer bill. The refund stems from a true-up of restoration costs from the historic 2024 hurricane season, when Hurricanes Debby, Helene and Milton made landfall in Florida.

Was anyone aware that if you can simply call FPL and close out someone's account without them verifying any information? Someone attempted to change our account, and FPL is not doing what they need to to restore our service/account after their mistake @insideFPL
