Once you get to the Semis, you obviously want to win the whole thing, but I think both Spain and Argentina have done their job just getting to the Semis. Especially in Argentina’s case, most complete wrote them off. An aging side, four years on, and the trend with World Cup winners is often a sharp fall-off (France being the exception). We know it hasn’t been pretty, but they’ve fought and once again proved their resilance. A SF exit is absolutely nothing to be ashamed off, imo.
