@_Cyberk_ @Nkosinathi28182 @MrFable9 That's what non linear story is, you're just use to simple & straight forward storytelling your comments shows that, every arc in TBHX connects and is important to understanding what is happening but It jumps back & forth in time hence why you need to pay attention to the dates.

@Nkosinathi28182 @MrFable9 They all have stories that at least doesn't feel like a random presentation of Smash Bros characters with some context attached to them. Ishura was like TBHX, and that's why the interest died fast. Almost nothing was being told in reality and the plot was all over the place

It hurts to say this but neither lotm nor tbhx was nominated in today's anime award even tho they are very much available in crunchyroll and deserved many spots. And it will continue like this just cause they are from another country. (Thread)

@_Cyberk_ @MrFable9 The story isn't bare bones or poorly connected you just don't pay attention, every arc helps you understand what is going on but it jumps back in time and lin ling's arc is the present timeline, if you understand that everything else makes sense.

@MrFable9 Let's be honest, To be Hero X has little going for it besides animation and music. The story is bare bones and poorly connected between some characters, and beyond Ling Ling, Ghost, E-Soul & maybe.. Cyan? I didn't find half of the cast having compeling stories behind them at all

@_Cyberk_ @MrFable9 That's the point the show doesn't treat the audience like idiots, every arc in the show connects you just need to pay attention and piece the timeline together, and besides there is another season to develop more of the characters it doesn't have to be done all in one season.

@MrFable9 I watched it with 2 friends, and while we enjoyed it overall, we had to sit down and connect everything ourselves. The way how it's written, plus the amount of plot points that weren't addressed, leaves a lot of confusion that cuts the flow of the story.

@lotmsarvin93142 @RiftedShard I am reading and I've seen some of your back handed compliments towards TBHX all you have to do is praise LOTM without comparing it to TBHX because it does seem like a show off obsession for you and the facts you make LOTM seem like an underdog is even weirder.

LotM is built different 😭🙏 Both LOTM and TBHX finished airing at the same time. Back then, LOTM had around 70k ratings on Crunchyroll while TBHX had about 75k. But look at it now 92.3k vs 79.7k. Because of the fans, a lot of people who dropped it due to the fast pacing in the first 3 episodes came back, and new viewers joined too. Again, all thanks to the fans. And this is with 0 advertisement, delayed dub, trash subtitles when it was airing, cut content from the original episodes, and still no Japanese dub 😭🙏 (No shade to TBHX it was my second favorite anime last year.)

@lotmsarvin93142 YouTube is usually where a lot of people will see the ads as it'll pop up while watching a YouTube vid, and for tiktok a lot of the time it's just random edits you might see, but as it stands CR didn't promote any ads for TBHX like the one I showed for LOTM on YouTube.

Opposite for me. Whenever a crazy fight dropped in tbhx I will only get that as add mainly in TikTok and some in YouTube. It could be a regional thing but most people agree that they didn't see any lotm advertisement. So going by one person isn't accurate. And like I said. Out of 10 trailers. Crunchyroll posted none. The ad thing can be regional but this ain't so you can go see for yourself

@lotmsarvin93142 And it's strange you keep comparing both shows making it seem like LOTM is the underdog when in fact it's the opposite, TBHX is an original anime with no outside source material & already established fanbase and got 0 trailer/marketing & promotion.

Zero advertising when the actual thing was airing and most of the hype was alive. They only started after a while the season finished airing. Like legit they didn't even post the trailer for lotm. Heck they even haven't posted the trailer for the special episodes coming out this year (and there is already 2 trailers out for it )

@GAMReads @lotmsarvin93142 No, Crunchyroll promotes LOTM with lots of trailers which I see pop up alot while watching YouTube vids, TBHX is the one that never got trailers or promotion and it still performed very well due to word of mouth by the people who watched it.

@magisxdv It's cool LOTM is doing well but stop trying to downplay TBHX bc I see u comparing alot, TBHX is an original anime & the newest piece of media while those other 2 are based on popular novels that's been out for yrs which tend to boost ratings on CR due to an established fanbase.

@Sahil96011761 @magisxdv I have never seen a TBHX marketing, while I've seen tons of LOTM ads pop up on YouTube as ads before I watch a video, LOTM was going to have more ratings just due to it having a popular novel, shows with that tend to have more reviews compared to a show with no source material

@magisxdv All that insane marketing by aniplex and crunchyroll just to be 3rd most rated donghua. Meanwhile Lotm with 0 advertisement is on top. All the credit goes to us fans.

@Claudiojoyboy10 @magisxdv That's a great achievement considering the fact that TBHX is the newest show there with no source material while LOTM & DLOTIK both had a popular web novels that came out years before their shows came out. Shows with popular manga/novels tend to get higher ratings on CR.

@lotmsarvin93142 @magisxdv LOTM is one of the most popular novels in China and has been out for around 8 yrs so it had plenty of time to build a fan base so the higher rating isn't surprising, while TBHX has no source material which is harder for shows like this to get this level of ratings it has.

@magisxdv @Claudiojoyboy10 No, DLOTIK has been out for 5 years and is based on a popular web novel so it has the boost, LOTM had a Novel for 8 yrs so it has time to build a established fan base,TBHX had barely any marketing and is an original anime which is more impressive.
