@theverybest5000 I love remote raiding, because it gives me the chance to raid with all my friends all over the World, it is a win win, fun to host raids, fun to get invited to raids and def we aren't lazy. I did invite ppl to raids the entire Saturday then did a lot remotes and Sunday again 💜

@theverybest5000 100% correct. Can’t believe niantic brought back the limit to 5 again. The money they’ve made this weekend should enough to convince that unlimited remote raiding should be available all year round. Everyone can participate and be included.

@theverybest5000 Our community was discussing whether this event might make them realise what they're missing out on. I was in the same position, walking for 16 hours, did 30+ Miles across the weekend, but helped online friends remote when I could and vice versa. It was awesome and I miss it.

All I'm saying is after this weekend I never wanna hear Niantic defenders arguing that people who remote raid are lazy. Shut the FUCK up. I spent 16 hours this weekend outside grinding this event. While out, sometimes I remote raided when I had to clear tasks and the only raids around me were... chimchar or some bs 💀 When I got home in the evening, I remoted with my global friends. Because it's FUN and as a literal adult with my own income *I* should get to choose how I spend my time and money, rather than having harsh ass arbitrary restrictions imposed on me by Niantic in the name of some misguided vision. Restrictions that, dare I say, actually work AGAINST their mission. Because limiting accessibility and affordability doesnt suddenly make everyone more inclined to work harder to play a GAME, but simply lose passion for it and play less instead. This weekend was tremendously exciting and filled with so much joy. Which is how pogo SHOULD BE and HOW 👏 IT 👏 WAS 👏 The remote raid limit must be lifted permanently AND THE PRICES REDUCED. REVIVE OUR BEAUTIFUL, DYNAMIC, PASSIONATE, EXHILARATING GLOBAL COMMUNITY 🤝

@MichaelSteranka @_SlimSady2 The downside to the remote raiding is the same as egg events -- it is gambling. Everyone is essentially rolling the remote pass or incubator for a good iv or a shiny pokemon. It is a bad habit to build in a game

I still find it absolutely mind boggling that just because the director of Pokemon Go was addicted to spending money on remote raids, we all suffered for it. Just wild.

A general reminder: Everyone makes mistakes. Everyone has made a stupid comment at some point. Everyone has been insensitive and rude at some point. Everyone has treated others poorly at some point. Everyone has said or made a decision that harmed someone at some point. NO ONE is perfect. We’re all flawed. We all have our moments of weakness. We will never stop making mistakes and doing things that are wrong, we’re human. The difference is, your ability to own up when you do and say wrong, take a responsibility, learn, grow and change for the better. This situation has been a major learning curb for me, and I will be much more proactive with what I say moving forward, and think before hand. It was a stupid comment, an insensitive one at that, and all I can do is apologise sincerely, take responsibility and change for the better. Being reactive and emotional is never the answer. I should probably spend less time reading so many comments and feedback all day everyday in general, it’s not healthy. I accept full responsibility and I’m sorry to all those who I offended in any way. I hope you’ll find it in your hearts to forgive me, BUT in saying that, I do deserve to be accountable and challenged if something I ever say is out of line, so I appreciate the accountability. There are consequences for the things you say, regardless of if you’re sorry or not, you have to live with them. Hopefully it means we learn and be better, which is certainly my goal and hope. I’m worried I’m cancelled for good by the Pokémon Go Community and I hope that isn’t true long term, and slowly but surly I can get back into the rhythm of things again but only time will tell. I hope people realise that saying bad things, and making bad decisions sometimes doesn’t make someone a bad person. Again, all I can say is sorry. What a mess. All the love in the world to the Pokémon Go community. ❤️
