@caiobafelip Alonso lost to rookie Lewis as a defending champ in equal machinery. He then moved from Ferrari and McLaren, often burning bridges down then those teams went on to win constructors and a drivers title or be competitive. It’s his own career choices and moves to blame.

@Rockxtario0 Justin isn’t in his physical prime but he’s come out of 3 championship fights being finished. Mix in Ilia’s strange strategy. I honestly think Ilia was willing to eat a few shots to get into range easier and land his own. Justin’s durability won him that fight.

@tirii_f1 He could’ve been successful at McLaren but lost to a rookie and changed teams. If he stayed longer with Ferrari he might’ve won a championship then. Then moved to McLaren. they just won the constructors back to back and then the drivers. It’s his own timing that let him down.

@PitchPaddocks Left Renault as a defending champ. Left McLaren after 07, left Ferrari before they became competitive, back to McLaren etc.. he moved around too much. Every team he left after his first stint with Renault went on to achieve success.

@THATBOYMMAGURU Ilia didn’t respect Justin’s power and durability. I think the plan was to take shots to get into the pocket earlier to then land his own shots and combinations. The problem was that Justin took his best shots, survived and landed at a high percentage. The jabs won him the fight.

@elsoldadodelmal Ilia showed in the first 30 secs of that fight that he was willing to walk into shots to land his own on Justin. He walked into power jabs all night long. Partially blocked some headkicks which I think broke his orbital and the swelling spread from there.

@angel_e_garcia_ Francis swings and hopes to land. Alex is one of the best kickboxers of all time, he knows how to set up a shot with pressure or to counter. It’ll be a hard start but I think he’ll eventually work out Gane’s movement and then capitalise.

@angel_e_garcia_ Gane is a freak athlete especially considering his size. His striking is beautiful even when sparring and on the pads but has fallen short every championship opportunity that he was given. I think it’ll be a hard start for Alex but once he finds his rhythm he’ll get the job done.

@f1_historia Hamilton had track position over Charles. If they pitted Charles one lap after Lewis the field would have bunched up by then which would’ve resulted in Charles losing positions rather than keeping the same position he had by pitting with Lewis.

@ScrewderiaF1 Hamilton had track position. If they waited another lap to pit Charles the rest of the drivers would have already been bunched up and would lose positions rather than what happened, him retaining his position.
