So no, you don't have to go against your common sense just because someone cited a "study" that "proved" breastfeeding could cause death or any other nonsense. Relatedly: you don't need a study to tell you that children should be with mother and father or that masks restrict oxygen flow to the brain

@puglistfan82 We should discourage pride and vain glory. It is an exciting time to be alive! We must take great care of our souls too. Having a platform is a huge responsibility. We will all be held to account for every idle word uttered even if we say some things that are good and true.

I agree. Some are nasty and do a disservice to God. That being said the Church is taking in growing numbers everywhere. There is a surge in Catholicism not seen in some time. The denominations can no longer hide from the facts and people are seeing the truth. You should never discourage those from spreading the good word even if they aren’t perfect. They very well could be doing Gods work. the algorithms aren’t the real world.

You and I agree there are some Catholics doing great work. Can we also agree that there are some who are married to the algorithm and want to nothing more than to be in the spotlight? They love to sow discord and amplify scandal. Everything for them becomes new content. That’s the influencer vacuum, and we should disavow it.

@integratedang Bad enough to have everyone attacking Catholics let alone our own. Some do amazing work in spreading the good word. I suppose everyone should just follow you and all will be well.
