@internetzlaura @CasspCan @HowardFMaclean What if the property gets damaged due to renting before the legal process is finalised? If everyone didn't agree to rent it out, or the courts find another party had an interest in the property, it could get very messy.

If someone owns a house that can be rented, but isn't for a long period of time, the most likely explanation is that the ownership or control of the house is uncertain, due to it belonging to a deceased estate or a legally incapable person in aged care. "

@CasspCan @HowardFMaclean Gosh it can't be rented out in the interim? Is that the law or due to people involved not agreeing? It seems like such a waste - if that were me I'd want the rental income even if the ownership was contested - grows the pot for everyone right?

@HowardFMaclean Yes we are stuck with a deceased estate at the moment. First it has to be cleared out, and it is interstate. Then it can’t be sold or rented out till they will goes through probate. Meanwhile it deteriorates 🙁
