@Point_of_Gold @Psychonaut421 I haven't gone down the rabbit hole recently with the engines mounted higher up. But I would consider that a new propulsive landing type still, that would need plenty of time to develop.

No it doesn't they could use the standard Landing technique so that's liable to dig big holes unless a solid site can be predefined however the plan is to use engines mounted higher up the vessel pointing out at an angle you could research this and understand it's benefits we need known new engines to do this

@Interplanetypod love the podcast! Was listening today and just wanted to mention that I don't believe Starship will be performing the belly flop maneuver on the moon because there's no atmosphere there, the purpose of that maneuver is to use an atmosphere to scrub off velocity.
