The Voting Rights Act was passed in 1965, which prohibits racial discrimination in voting. Although it is against the law to prevent people from voting based on their identities like race and gender, voter suppression is still a problem in many communities today. #VOTE

Trump said that Critical Race Theory was un-American. But ignore race is to ignore history defined by slavery & dispossession. It’s our job to know the WHOLE of our history...it’s what true democracy is all about.
