To offer one criticism from the adaptational standpoint it wouldn't be useless guff about "the real Odysseus would never feel guilt" but more that I really think the Scylla and Charybdis sequence is far too short and doesn't convey the dread of all the other supernatural bits

I loved the movie, but THE ODYSSEY is Nolan's first in ages that felt compromised due to the limits of IMAX –– I wanted a more patient build to Hades, a bigger sequence around Scylla, with dozens of shots I wish ran longer. it's what's stopping it from being one of his very best
