I am now officially a victim of AI-hallucination: anyone that Googles my company name now thinks I am a cybercriminal because I used the words "cybercrime investigator" on my website. As people start to blindly trust AI-search, I wonder if this would classify as harAIssment?🤔💭

I never really thought about any *real* 5G security risks until I realized that 5G coverage enables nation-states to fully autonomously operate drones from the other side of the planet, no local radio controls needed. 📡🚁

@rcroonenberghs You wouldn’t take actions but it would help the police to track the drone path and potentially the launcher

@intidc And then? If you able to spot one? If you can't take actions it has no real added value. Or are you not referring to the drones around the airport and the military bases.

We should create an app that incentivizes citizens to detect drones with their smartphone camera. Users would point their camera at the sky through window while not in use and have AI detect anomalies. Drone sightings reported by multiple users in the area could be rewarded 💰

@intidc @BrusselsAirport @FranckenTheo We lopen hopeloos achter. Onze politiek is liever bezig met futiliteiten en ego.

Begin te denken dat de #drones boven @BrusselsAirport en militaire domeinen niet zozeer uitzijn op spionage, wel als poging om @FranckenTheo periodiek voor schut te zetten als reactie op recente uitlatingen tov Moskou. In dat geval zal het allicht niet de laatste poging zijn.

While there's some room for abuse, I don't think that anyone would report their own crime through the app just to make a bit of money. It would be a more effective use of tax-money vs additional anti-drone detection systems in residential areas, so perhaps a good experiment?

Since the devices would only record the sky and would not require microphone access, privacy is less of a concern. Only a valid sighting + geolocation would be sent if the user agrees. Users would be paid for valid sightings of drone space violations

@intidc @BrusselsAirport @FranckenTheo Enige verklaring waarom we nog geen enkele foto of filmpje gezien hebben van zo'n drone? Zeker rond Zaventem is het dichtbewoond en zitten daar bijna constant spotters met tele-lenzen.

Ik denk ook dat luchthavens niet toevallig gekozen zijn: economische impact maar tevens kan je een drone bijna niet neerhalen (fysiek via projectiel / laser of digitaal dmv jamming, emp, deauth) zonder ook de werking van zo’n luchthaven in de war te sturen.

Ik ga niet ontkennen dat ik niet bij de hogere middenklasse behoor, maar verwachten dat mensen zo'n verschillen zonder probleem kunnen ophoesten is compleet wereldvreemd en geeft zeer weinig vertrouwen.

Paar maand geleden een huis gekocht dat totaalrenovatie moet ondergaan. Strakke budgetten ten spijt: eerst alle verbouwpremies kwijtgeraakt en nu wekenlange onzekerheid of het 6 of 9% BTW zal zijn. Gaat over tienduizenden euro's verschil. Hoezo is er nog een renovatieplicht?!
