What a fantastic turn out in Bedworth by local passionate residents and businesses, meeting with the #highstreetstaskforce, @nuneatonand Bedworthboroughcouncil, @warwickcountycouncil, to discuss the future of Bedworth and look at developing a town centre partnership

Great workshop with 30 students from @WirralMet on the future of town centres, exploring how young people can play an active role in their local town centre. So much enthusiasm showed by the young people and volunteering to become involved in developing social media for the town

Glad to be able to support the launch of this new initiative - High Streets Accelerators today - with Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and 10 very engaged places. The new place-based partnerships will support a focus on local growth, driven by communities

Interesting day in Newcastle-under-Lyme, delivering the #highstreetstaskforce Unlocking Your Place Potential workshop. Not sure that snake 🐍 pays business rates 😜, but he was certainly entertaining the crowds today!! 🤣🤣

Pleased to be part of the tour around East London hosted by #Wellnorth Enterprises, looking at different schemes, a Place (The Church - Bromley By Bow Centre) a Street (St Paul’s Way) and a City (The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park) through a Communities and entrepreneurial model

A great turnout for @WirralCouncil Youth Market initiative in Liscard town centre today. Fantastic display by local makers, creators, bakers and performers showing off their skills, talent and budding entrepreneurial flair @james_jsl @J___Williamson

Bedworth #HighStreetsTaskForce "Unlocking Your Place Potential" The town has positives, such as few historic buildings etc. However, the lack of offer in the town centre, makes you understand why it is facing some real challenges to remain relevant to its catchment area.

Part of @HighStreetsTaskForce Unlocking Your Place Potential workshop with @StockportMBC and stakeholders we explored the challenges of an underperforming secondary retail area against a backdrop of significant regeneration and investment being made in the rest of the Town centre

Encouraging to see that @SouthTynsideCouncil in #Southshields has added a pop of colour to the town and that stakeholders have come back together following their Place Making Programme @HighStreetsTF wanting to learn how to build a sustainable partnership #collaboration
