It's strange actually delivering therapy after a decade of thinking about and preparing for it. I was told so many times that clinical psychologists are not 'just therapists' (whatever that means) that I'm almost surprised how much it's a part of training!

The real problem isn’t the fit note system. It’s that mental health services are at breaking point after years of under investment.

I've passed my first #DClinPsy placement and I hope to celebrate with a good night's sleep! Only 5 more placements to go... 😅

THIS is the misdiagnosis that is happening. Not people being ‘handed’ autism and ADHD diagnoses. But neurodivergent people being given inappropriate mental health diagnoses and inappropriate treatment as a result.
