Missed the Pelley press conference, but I'm catching up now. Overall, pretty encouraging all things considered. Some of my biggest takeaways:

Like they needed to do this, yes. But all year, knowing pick was barely protected, didn't make an aggressive move, coach, trade, nothing. Didn't try to tank. Just sauntered in the abyss, deadline w/ no plan, piling up mistakes like credit card debt for the next guy.

Post-Treliving, annoyed that a more stable org would've done what FLA's done. "Off year, rest everyone who's even got a cold, drop for best draft pick possible." Last couple weeks should've been Aktymov, Tverberg, etc & losses. But GM incentived to scrap for wins to the end.
