Our first 2022 event is under way! During this roadmapping workshop, our attendees have discussed the biggest barriers to overcome for clinical translation of photoacoustic imaging, what resources are needed to address these barriers, and what IPASC should focus on in 2023-2025.

We are creating standard test objects for use with photoacoustic imaging systems, defining methods for testing and data handling and reaching community consensus on performance assessment. News of our recent activities will be posted here.

Translating new technology from the laboratory to the hospital means we need to under the fundamentals of #precision and #accuracy but these are currently hard to measure. Through #IPASC we are going to change this.
