Hosting a political campaign was an own goal from the club, but I think most, in time, could have looked past it. Lying to staff and fans about the situation is unforgivable, however. #itfc

People miss the point now. It’s not so much that Ashton may have had lunch with NF. It’s the denial, and if true, brazen lies not only to staff but to the fanbase. It’s overkill for him to leave but at least showing some remorse for the situation could go a long way. #itfc
