We noted with satisfaction the recent progress in the normalization of relations between our countries, including efforts to strengthen #peace, stability, & expand trade ties. We highlighted the important role of the @IPUparliament as a platform for interparliamentary cooperation & expressed appreciation to Secretary General @MartinChungong for his efforts in facilitating dialogue. We also welcomed the renewed contacts between our parliamentary delegations since our meeting in Geneva in October 2025 & agreed to continue this engagement. Delegacja #SenatRP bierze udział w 152. Zgromadzeniu Unii Międzyparlamentarnej (IPU) w Stambule. 🇹🇷 W zgromadzeniu uczestniczą przedstawicielstwa 183 państw członkowskich. Polskę reprezentują wiceprzewodnicząca IPU senator Gabriela Morawska-Stanecka oraz senatorowie Stanisław Gawłowski, Wiktor Durlak i Magdalena Kochan. Podczas zgromadzenia trwają prace wielu komitetów, w tym Komitetu ds. Pokoju i Bezpieczeństwa IPU, gdzie Polska wspiera poprawki zgłoszone przez delegację Ukrainy. 🇺🇦 Równolegle odbywa się debata generalna pod hasłem: „Pielęgnowanie nadziei, zapewnianie pokoju oraz gwarantowanie sprawiedliwości dla przyszłych pokoleń”. Kluczowym momentem zgromadzenia będzie wybór nowego Sekretarza Generalnego IPU. Wcześniej senator Gabriela Morawska-Stanecka uczestniczyła w 299. posiedzeniu Komitetu Wykonawczego IPU, który zebrał się w celu omówienia nowej strategii organizacji oraz bieżących spraw dotyczących niektórych parlamentów.
