Gen Alpha are the students we are teaching right now. They are also called Gen Glass because screens were placed in front of the at a very young age, making it a “normal” for them.

Understanding Gen Z and Gen Alpha is vital for instructional planning because this is how the students process information. We want plan with a purpose and knowing how the students think is a way to make instruction more effective and engaging.

In my opinion, digital natives have experienced the best of both worlds. They learned how to search for answers through effort, and see advancement of AI. As teachers, it is important to help students understand how learning and research was before and move forward to now!
