Track 1
- It has a synth-pop vibe. As you listen, it kind of makes you think of tropical nights or the summer heat
- Soobin does the intro and it feels really fresh
- Overall, there seem to be quite a lot of falsetto parts
- There are lyrics like “soaking the thorn bushes~” and “laying my body down by the roadside,” though op isn’t 100% sure about that 2nd one
- It actually made them understand how Soobin felt when he went on Amazing Saturday as a guest
Track 2
- It starts with a female-voiced narration, and it somehow feels like something you might have heard in an Sci Fi movie (the voice also appears in the chorus)
- a bit of a techno feeling
- while listening, it reminded me of NU’EST W’s “Deja Vu”
- The beat and rhythm felt somewhat similar to the chorus of “Deja Vu” in some parts
Track 3
- Hip-hop
- Soobin says, “Does worrying feed you? So what,” “Even if people like or dislike it, so what”
Roughly: “tell me tell me so what / it doesn’t matter whatever / even if effort betrays me / we make the music we want / moa who stayed by my side”
- Compared to older songs, it feels similar to “New Rules,” but lighter and bouncier
Mischievous, playful? it’s a bit of an energetic, fun song
Track 4
- It starts with a truck engine sound, then the intro goes to Taehyun → Kai with lots of echo and the instrumental is very quiet, it carried almost entirely by their voices, which makes it very immersive
- From the middle, the beat comes in and it becomes more rhythmic and overall there are lots of harmonies so you can really feel the vocal blend between members
- There’s a lyric like “If you hear the voice of the heart inside the clumsy noise the world makes” (not exact)
Track 5
- Mid-tempo
- Soobin has a part that goes like “A child shining full of curiosity~ I long for what comes after next”
- Then Yeonjun comes right after, with the same part progression but he sings it more like a singing-rap voice
- Toward the end, electric guitar comes in, and Kai and Taehyun give a rock vocal feeling
- There were lyrics like, “Someday, toward the tomorrow I dreamed of even if it’s different, I’ll go”
Track 6 (Stick with you) aka the title track
- It’s definitely techno, but not that old-school flashy techno more like medium-tempo techno. The intro goes from Kai → Beomgyu
- Soobin has a part with the lyrics “maru bogo itjiman~” (“we’re facing each other, but…”)
- they think it roughly means that you and I are facing each other but there’s no mutual feeling of love
- The chorus has lines like: “One more day a day~ Stay by my side, like always
I can’t let go, I’m just stick with you”
which ( to op ) is basically about holding onto someone who’s leaving or already gone
- The 2nd verse intro with Soobin was great, and in the part where they sing “One more day a day, clinging~” there are adlibs
- Soobin’s vocal growth is really noticeable here
- Overall, the song gives a vibe somewhere between Jeon Somi’s “Fast Forward” and DAY6’s “Love Me or Leave Me”. There’s no huge explosive moment but once you hear it, you start humming it.
- There’s even a part in the middle where the lyrics rhyme at the line endings, it’s subtle but very satisfying
