I'm working on a new ebook project (maybe I can do print option later) on a local fishing boat we call the Prong. Some history, some social, lots of odd snippets from the Three Sister Rivers and from the communities along them incl #Wexford, #Waterford & #Kilkenny 25k words atm

@NatureNymph same! had a great chat with W Cork farmer about wool at the wool talk @creativeirl . they used to be able to pay for new clothes at the tailor from the price they got for wool vs nowadays.some great initiatives going on at local level to support home grown wool as a product.

#Ploughing2023 lunch beside 2 farmers; brothers frm Cork, both 65+, 1 dairy/1tillage+beef. We talked abt farming/envt/change. They’re hurt by the depiction of them in media. They said ‘thank you for listening’. I learned lots incldg abt their pea growing yrs ago for Batchelors.
