“We don't want to see you in this country after June 30th. I cannot guarantee your safety in this country after 30th June. Don't listen to the government or the police. Just go back to your country.”

This is getting more serious!

This is one of the reasons I shut down the 2 mini gas plants I had in Ife and relocated out of the country. One of it cost at least 4million to open as at 2021, btw.
I started when 1ton was 300k and sold at 350. But in less than 2 years, it hit 700k and I still couldn’t sell past 750 just so customers could still afford to buy.
That meant running capital had more than doubled but profit was still the same. That’s not a profitable business except you’re doing extremely great numbers at sales.
Imagine people still in the business today, they will buy for at least 1400 at the depot and can’t sell more than 1500. Some, like me, will even sell at 450 just to beat competition and do some quick sales… but, that only means your running capital has done 5x in about 5 years but your profit over each tonne still remains the same.
Nigeria is such a shitty country!!!

@Graceful_Son01 @GodsgraceRotimi @JosephLaughterS I’m sorry I don’t own any business yet but with the little knowledge I have I think business is all about selling what you buy. You are not selling on credit and hopefully there should be capital for you to restock since u are selling back . Maybe that’s not how business work.

@GodsgraceRotimi @JosephLaughterS No put head. Carry that monie go china 🇨🇳

@TemitopeTmb @JosephLaughterS Are you all saying there’s no profit in this business. Just curious tho
English

@JosephLaughterS I’m in your shoe still in your shoe
I understand this because I invested over 4m to install gas station
I really hope I find a way out of this country
