@Lynn800XLove It's good to be in a place of peace. How do you know though that the indie market aren't interested in your book? Have you tried?

I'm writing my 7th book and loving it. But I'm increasingly thinking I will never be published. Yes, I had an agent, have had a lot of full requests, but I don't think it's going to happen. I love writing & hope I can just enjoy it for itself. Anyone feel the same? #amwriting

@DelandJessica I went the self-pub route in the end. It's published. Book 2, When the Gold Weeps, is coming out 29th April 😊 the love you get in the indie route is night &day compared to trad. I'm still bitter. Will try trad again but for now, I need a break & I'm very happy with indie.

As an indie writer myself, I want to support others. (Would do more, but time. Where do I buy some?) So I need some recs! 1) No sex scenes 2) Woke is not my cup of tea 3) I won't ding for profanity, but will note it in my reviews. 4) I like good guys who want to be good.

I’ve been quiet recently as I lost my mum suddenly which happened to coincide with the release of my first book. But I’m grateful that she was the first person to receive a copy and managed to read it before she died ❤️ She was adamant her character get a bigger role in book 2!
