My first ever tweet, 12 years ago. I simply started in the name of Allah, the beneficient, the merciful. And so far, Twitter (now X) has been great to me! 😉
My first tweet got zero engagements!

@king_pearxe There is one currently in my ward.
For every contact I have with her relatives, she videos me. It's so uncomfortable and even when I tell her "can you not video me", she goes " your face won't show", I don't know how to handle her.
English

Was about to do an abdominal examination for a patient.
A nurse was inside the room, same as the patient's relative.
She then goes and brings out a phone and starts recording.
I said it's unethical to video me without my consent and hence I will stop doing what I was doing.
She replied that she's within her rights to video her sister.
That's how the consultation ended

Prof. Sani R/Lemu in his 23rd Tafsir discussed the importance of being frank - being open and having no difficulty expressing what's on your mind. He explained that the absence of frankness breeds negative assumptions/suspicions about you, misunderstandings, and conflicts. Frankness enables peaceful relationships because people trust that your words reflect your true thoughts. The opposite breeds mistrust.

@Soulmedika @abassajayi Disagreement with our way of practicing might sound more objective, but hate is such is big word and carries so much weight.
It unmasked what you might not even know about yourself.
May you be guided.

First, you should not have communicated that indirectly, I have been direct with my position here.
I take positions against your faith the same way other people do here, rationally as a matter of fact. I do not hate you or people like you and that should be on record.
I have further challenged you to enquire from Muslims colleagues who know me here, I attended LASUCOM (should be easy) and ask if they think I hate Muslims.
I do this with consciousness on how this will affect my relationship with Muslims colleagues going forward, but I am not one to stay on the side of political correctness.
I do not hate you, I hate no one, but yes, I hate the way Islam is being practiced.
I hope this helps…

The doctor guy may be me or any other doctor for that matter…
As I have always said, my classmates, juniors and seniors in med school are here, the people I did house job with, the people I served with, the people I worked with in UCH, as a matter of fact, there is a Muslim lady here that worked with me for 6 months in her last posting (I remembered having a conversation with her along this line).
So, if this message is indirectly meant for me, I will advise any Muslim to ask about me from any Muslims that personally know me (that should be easy), I will go and above and beyond for anyone in whatever capacity I am irrespective of their religion.
I have been very focal about Islam, especially in recent times and I understand the strain that would produce in my relationship with Muslims colleagues and friends. It is a price I am willing to pay to express my rational fear, I will not be politically correct about this, not now!
As a matter of fact, throughout medical school, I had strained relationship with people because of my convictions. This was only resolved few years ago when the party involved reached out to acknowledge they understood my position.
This might not even be me, it might Funmi as the comments suggested or any other person, but doc, our fear is rational!

This doctor guy on this app and his obvious hate for Islam Important to note people like them down so you would avoid being in need of their help or being close to them. Cos from their tweets you can see clearly the hate for Islam and Muslims. Means they hate you too
