I just watched the interview with Albanese and I'm actually crying. You can see that he doesn't believe a word he is saying. You can see he has disregarded every moral he has ever had. Just so we get what? Some submarines? 'Defence' with an egomaniac? 1/?

@SHOJl I doubt it's adultery or anything. I think those are just counter-narratives that are easy to spread when you dislike Christianity but that have little actual backing. While it is possible of course, I don't think the evidence points in that direction

@SHOJl Translations make misunderstanding common, huh? There's a large gap in records about Jesus between when he was born and when he was around 30, and historians say his birth story was first recorded long after other stories, so I imagine the "virgin birth" is a fabrication

@JackODouble @QDenpaReceivers I think they wanted to prioritise English because of how big of a market it is, so they made it concurrently. However it is pretty dumb not to update it, my guess is they just didn't want to pay to redo the whole script

@JackODouble @QDenpaReceivers That's exactly what I mean? The English translation was being made concurrently and used a significantly outdated script, other languages weren't. The devs or translators, we don't know, decided it was close enough and chose not to commission/make a new version
