Heads up on the sign up: you check eligibility, get 24hrs to consider, then do a training week to make sure you can share your data. After that we send you your Garmin and ovulation tests and your set. Donate data for 6 cycles and answer a few short questions each cycle.

@Kes_t1D_SW Strange 🤔 so country needs to be a named one, then for hormones you can only say yes to contraceptive pill not the others, cannot be pregnant or currently breastfeeding, have pcos, take metformin, do night/day shifts, or have been on an interventional study in last two months?

@isabelladegen I don’t actually know to be honest. I’m 37, have used HCL since ‘22 and dx since ‘19

@Moodwife Oh no, how awful 😢 This study is philanthropic and academic, not corporate. The goal: indisputable evidence so that the massive impact can no longer be dismissed. Treatment will still have to follow but first we need the data as scientific evidence 💙

@isabelladegen Some gals & I had a series of chats 3 years ago with a European company about things which could make HCL more effective for those who menstruate. The company then published academic papers using data we’d recommended - we got no mention - and their CEO stopped answering emails…

@DiabeticDadUK 3 dots (15min) for a massive jump up and then back to the previous level. I get the same and BG readings never confirm it. IMO sensor error. If anything you had a small rise, that spike didn’t happen. In the moment, before seeing the future, you never know. Super annoying

I've no idea what happened at 1am-ish. I was asleep. Do you get strange spikes in the night? (Fnar!) #T1D

@Anna90523382 Yup I can imagine that’s how it feels. I’m still very careful about what I eat cause weird stuff happens to my BG all the time 🙄 it’s an eternal challenge 🤷‍♀️💙

@isabelladegen Thank you when have to snack and no bolus reminds me of old days of mdi/finger pricks when had to be much stricter with what ate and used to have to have carby snacks etc. Felt like had gone backwards not forwards. Tech is great when it works 😩😁

Went back to finger pricks more &this sensor is working as am genuinely below 4 since around 4pm switch to manual,eating no bolus etc.Have horrible niggle something is amiss with my omnipod 5controller but insulet say not. Have altered settings again been like this 4wks #gbdoc

@Anna90523382 Ugh the worst problem with HCL: if they get garbage information they make garbage decisions. Hope next sensor works better and today is better. I frequently have phases of such patterns too. We kind of just have to roll with it 😔💙

@isabelladegen Hi well it maybe it seemed to be faulty libre sensors as think hi dose vit C was affecting the readings. Also tho for last 12 days have been low from around 4pm confirmed by finger pricks. Unfortunately can’t calibrate libre.

@Anna90523382 Oh no. How well does the CGM track? For me that’s often quite out and if I calibrate it to high it misses the lows and vica versa. IMO there are situations the HCL will struggle with and we all struggle with 😢

@isabelladegen Had it the last 3 weeks high at lunch then low late afternoon to bedtime so weird. Been told to let hcl do its thing. But whatever that thing is doesn’t seem to like me🤣😳😂

@Anna90523382 Doesn’t it just? I hope you land it well. My low turned eventually into a high but I managed to catch it again 😅

@isabelladegen Thank you not a massive sweetie fan but have been munching haribo for 7hrs nearly now no bolus. Sometimes diabetes surprises us🤣
