I was having a conversation with my Nigerian friend about politics. I told him how we are going to send Ruto home because it’s Wantam, and asked him if they are going to send Tinubu away too. He said they could do that, but then asked who they would vote for that would be better. He turned it back on me and said, “If not Ruto, then who?” I told him we just want him out. He laughed and said, “Come talk to me after the election,” lol.

Edwin Sifuna should go for the Presidency. Of all the candidates in the 2027 race he is the only one who truly has the People and the People have him. He has transcended the tribal politics that are pushed by the likes of Presdident Ruto, Rigathi Gachagua and akina Kalonzo.

Salvaging a country from yoke of dictatorship is not a child play. We must be very intentional about it. No jokes. No hidden intentions. No tribal groupings. No Kiburi .No time wasting. No welcoming ruto in ones' constituency/county functions on one day and the next day you are yapping in rallies against him .You are confusing supporters. Ethnic mobilisation does not remove a despot. They have the resources and wherewithal to devide and rule. It must be a national call for action ; and the time is nigh! Many parallel odm events only plays into his favour. He is happy and smiling at your political stupidity. If ODM does not want us, it is high time we make the unfortunate decision and move forward. It is the only feasible and easiest way out. What made Raila is his ability to walk away from parties and causes he no longer believed in and pursuing public interest in other formation. We can not sing Raila morning to evening and be afraid to practise and take risks he took to achieve his goals. Chama ilienda kitambo. The train must now leave the station ! Kenya needs a renaissance!
