1st year students took part in the Engineering Today programme that was run by @JA_Irl and @Pfizer_Ireland . Great series of workshops introducing girls to engineering and the possibilities of working in this sector in the future. Special thanks to our volunteer Paul! 👩‍💻🧑‍🔬💉🖥️

Some 2nd Year students visited @tcddublin this week for @TrinityMedDay, engaging in a Q&A session and different workshops with some medical students. Great insight into what is involved in studying medicine! 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️🏥⚕️🩺🩻

Some 2nd year students just completed the Futurewize Programme with @JA_Irl. They had great fun investigating topics that covered all areas of science and learning about the potential jobs in STEM. A big thank you to our volunteer Anna for running the programme! 😊👩‍🔬🚀🧪🥼

Delighted to welcome the Italian exchange students in for 'una lezione di scienze'. They had great fun taking part in their first ever practical lesson. They all said it was "fantastico"! 🇮🇹👨‍🔬👩‍🔬🔥⚛️ @MsWalshMFL @Italian_Dublino

All 2nd years went to see a show in the @ExplorationDome that visited the school today. They got to learn about the solar system, different constellations, possibility of extraterrestrial life and took a journey into the cells of the human body! 🌍🪐☄️🌠👽🧬

Well done to the winners of the Science Week poster competition, with the theme of "Infinite Possibilities". Leah, Sarah, Karolina and Clarrisa all won an amazing drinking bird! 🧬🧪⚛️⚗️🦠🥛🐦 #ScienceWeek2022 #creativity

1st years had a fun filled day exploring the four main strands of science. Highlights included the flame tests, designing a rocket, investigating the senses and the Whoosh Bottle demo! Even Din Din the Dino got involved! 👩‍🔬🔥🚀🧠💥🦕

Really interesting talk today from @JP_Dunbar on the pros and cons of venom in nature. Students loved seeing the creatures you had! 🐍🦂🐛🕷️
