@IsleOfNate Interesting article, thanks for sharing.
Realistically I don’t think we’re making the play offs. It’s not the hope that kills you. It’s knowing it’s the hope that kills you, that kills you

@LutonNews_LTFC Shea first half, and Keeley second plus pens if any.

@archivetvmus71 Great entertainment and a theme tune that grabbed your attention from the off!
English

@NexusworldHQ Fair do's if that's what you saw. Good luck with the season, you've been playing some good stuff from what I've seen. Hope there's no hard feelings against the Hatters!
English

@isettakev Watching it live the referee gestured he fell on the ball and grabbed the it assuming he would give a foul the other way, like you often see in the corner flag. But this clearly wasn’t the case which tells me he guessed.
English

What makes this worse is the ref gave this as handball, however from his angle you cannot possibly see whether Aitchison handled this or not so it’s a complete guess and he’s gone with the protest of the Luton player.
Absolute incompetence and the club need an explanation. #ECFC

Luton Town got a penalty vs Exeter City for this shove from Devante Cole onto Jack Aitchison How’s the referee given that?🤔😳 #ecfc #LTFC #COYH

@Since71Blog @_ChuBarker If I buy a Cadburys cream egg, I don't need to actually see it to know it's there.
English

@isettakev @_ChuBarker So you're saying that the lino had a clear view of the ball being over the line?
English

@Since71Blog @FAWNL Looks like the defender had to arch backwards in able to clear the ball, and it was probably over the line. The lino is in the perfect position too.
English

@_ChuBarker @Since71Blog In a sense we are all guessing because there's no goal line technology! It could be a mm either way and no human could possibly be absolutely sure, but to the lino it looks in. If it looked in to the lino but he doesn't give a goal then that really would be a cause for concern.
English

@Since71Blog @_ChuBarker Ridiculous! If he can see the whole of the line then it's immaterial whether he can see the ball or not! Just because it's being shielded by the defender doesn't mean that the ball just disappears into thin air!
English

@isettakev @_ChuBarker So the lino has guessed it then. You cannot give a goal if you cannot clearly see the whole ball over the line.
English

@HattersHeritage He doesn't open the scoring, it was a second half equaliser!

⏪OTD 1975
Peter Anderson rounds Jim Brown to open the scoring as Luton draw 1-1 with Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

@HattersHeritage @retrofootballnw I'm sure that I remember him from when I used to train with A.C. Delco in Luton.
English

@retrofootballnw Les Shannon, who played for Burnley and Liverpool and later worked as a scout at Luton, helped to co-ordinate the football sequences along with Pele.
