@TigoODonnell To this day my major gripe with Chris' campaign is his reaction to getting shot. I don't think it was smart design to turn the game into a cover shooter with hitscan enemies if every time you get shot you have to watch your guy do an obnoxious flailing fall onto his back.

@TigoODonnell The problem is that Devil May Cry was actually good. The only good thing about RE6 was the combat, but the game is full of QTEs and set pieces that prevents it from being good even as its own thing. The combat was basically the only good ingredient in a sandwich made with turds

You know the famous story of how the first draft of Resident Evil 4 was a drastic change from the series but was so good that Mikami told Kamiya to make it into what him & the team wanted, resulting in Devil May Cry? That should have happened with Resident Evil 6.

I genuinely hate modern video game reload animations with a burning passion. Ever since MW 2019 got all the (deserved) praise for its reload animations, every single AAA game tried to outdo the other in sheer spectacle. Normal reloads respecting the manual of arms?
