Well, everyone screamed to stop playing drop coverage with Maxey in the P&R, so they did. They brought Queta more to the level like everyone wanted, and then saw why you can't do that, because Maxey's speed kills it

@muhywale @CelticsLead Queta has played around All-Defensive level all season. Wasn’t his best series, but he had a TERRIBLE whistle against Embiid. The problem is that Mazzulla has no plan B. He’s a great coach when his Plan A of shooting threes works, but if the threes don’t fall the team looks lost.

@CelticsLead No need for Mazzulla to go. A proper C is needed. Celtics won 2024 championship because they were good in shooting 3's, which the percentage has dropped now. It's been long Celtics has lacked a good C

In real time I thought JB botched the break but on the replay that's a tougher play than it like just because the window was so small and it closed once JB dribbled once. He didn't hold it and miss a pass as much as he dribbled before looking up, so he made the next pass

Why context matters: Yes, JB did miss Queta on the break, but he did make a pass to an open Pritchard who missed. Next possession, JB throws a solid pass to Hauser who fumbles it (CATCH THAT) These are two makeup plays worth 4-5 points. But these are team mistakes, not just JB's

The play ended up in a wide open corner 3 from Pritchard but Brown had Queta wide open under the rim. Then next play Hauser has an open layup and he overthrows him. 4 points at that time changes EVERYTHING
