It appears I have made the correct choice in not spending $70 for early access. An even better choice would be not buying it at all, but alas.

Is there an actual comparison between original Xbox H2 and MCC H2 in regards to music volume? Everyone always compares it to H2A and not the original. I don't remember the music being all that loud in the original either. I'm not in a position to test it myself anymore.

One thing that really bothered me about MCC and it still hasn't been fixed: Why is the original soundtrack so low in the mix? The new OST is front and center, but the original OST can barely be heard in Halo CE and Halo 2. This can't be changed in the setting either.

@euthymiias @mrgruntington If you walk around for a bit, it’ll fix itself. It does this even on backwards compat.

@mrgruntington xemu is a much better comparison, the only visual issue in my entire run was the fog in AotCR, everything else was flawless

You guys really gotta stop using MCC/PC CE screenshots & vids for examples of Halo CE's atmosphere lmao
the mcc and og xbox build are fundamentally different games asthetically in so many ways 😭

I hope the Spiker reload animation isn't final. Lots of unnecessary and awkward movement when the mag is out. Grenade throw looks good.

Halo: Campaign Evolved's Spiker is one of the coolest weapons I've ever used in Halo, fully realising all the potential its concept had - Reuses the Bungie sound design, mixed to make it sound more violent - Very aggressive design and animations - Extremely powerful
