yesterday X paid me $788.29 for 445K verified impressions.
People started asking about my audience breakdown, so here it is:
Top countries:
🇮🇳 India: 28.9%
🇳🇬 Nigeria: 12.6%
🇺🇸 US: 12.6%
Many assume the US is my biggest audience because of my payouts.
It is not.
Age:
18–24: 35.3%
25–34: 39.3%
35–44: 16.9%
Other: 8.5%
Reach:
79.4% followers
20.6% non-followers
I post 8 times a day, spread throughout the full day, usually with 2–3 hours between posts to give each one room to breathe.
My audience is much more global than people assume.

@ArunimaGanguly2 More demat accounts don't automatically mean more taxable income Data matters

roughly 9% of indians participate in the stock market (131M+ unique investors as per May 2026 data).
yet, only around 4% of the population actually pays income tax.
now compare that with other major economies.
in the united states, china, south korea, and the united kingdom, the share of people investing in equities is generally much closer to the share paying income tax.
japan is even more interesting.
there, the share of people paying income tax is roughly 3 times higher than the share investing in equities.
in india, we have far more people participating in the stock market than paying income tax.
how does that make sense?
what explains this gap? and how to solve it?
