A procession of Patriarch Ilia II's godchildren is taking place today. There are over 50,000 of them in Georgia. This mass christening tradition was initiated by the Patriarch in 2008 to improve the country’s demographics. Even if it happens elsewhere, that is zero excuse for us. I don't buy the conspiracy theory that someone is specifically targeting Georgia. The undeniable fact is that our own agency (GADA) systematically broke the rules and covered it up. That institutional failure creates a reasonable suspicion for our other sports too, which is the real tragedy. I just hope they are clean🙌
